Few states are as synonymous with forward-thinking alternative music as Massachusetts, and today we have a premiere from one of the Bay State’s finest young acts.
Northernmost is a five-piece rock band with just enough indie edge to help them stand out amidst the incredibly crowded alternative rock landscape. The group is set to release their latest EP, titled Pinedale, on September 18, 2015. You may or may not have heard of the group before today, but before you rest your head on your pillow tonight I must insist you give them a few minutes of your time.
Today, UTG is thrilled to host the world premiere of “Cloudy,” which is taken from Pinedale. The song sounds like what might happen if Balance And Composure decided to release a collaborative track with Brand New, only slightly more youthful. You can stream the song below.
It’s hard to know where any band trying to make it today will end up, but there is something inherently catchy about Northernmost’s music we simply cannot deny. Comment below and let us know if you feel the same.
