Matty Carlock, former vocalist for New Jersey hardcore unit Back And Forth, has released his debut solo single, “Meet Me On The Parkway.” The song takes a more rock-oriented singer-songwriter direction, and provides insight toward the sound of Carlock’s upcoming record, Loveless.
“The years that led up to Loveless were tied together by violence, touring, multiple near-death experiences and fighting with bloody fists for a love that was betrayed,” says Carlock on the upcoming album. “I wrote ‘Loveless’ at the same time as my whole life was falling apart. I was left with absolutely nothing but a guitar, isolation, and intense heart break.”
