Saosin share first new single from comeback album with Anthony Green

Since the first mention of Saosin moving forward once again with Anthony Green at the helm for Skate & Surf nearly two years ago, the questions have remained: Will we hear new music? And when?

Well, sure, I remember hearing some new cuts at Riot Fest two years ago. Well, now they’ve shared the video for the track that has been surfacing on YouTube from their live shows called “The Silver String.” It’s taken from their forthcoming LP, titled Along The Shadow, which is due out on May 20 through Epitaph. Pre-orders are live now.

There aren’t really any surprises here, but it’s refreshing to hear Anthony Green doing something exponentially harder than his solo work and ventures with Circa Survive. I’m guessing we’ll be able to hear this, as well as maybe another new one at Taste Of Chaos, where the band (sans founding guitarist Justin Shekoski) will be out with Dashboard Confessional, Taking Back Sunday and The Early November this Summer.
