Kimbra returns on new Slowolf track, “White Feathers”

Since her fantastic sophomore album The Golden Echo in 2014, Kimbra has mostly been laying low aside from a few tours, some studio sessions, and some very subtle features on Mew‘s recent album, + –.

Today, over at Nylon, a new track, titled “White Feathers,” has been released, featuring the Kiwi singer with electronic artist Slowolf, who once remixed her song, “Goldmine.” The track is taken from Slowolf’s upcoming White Feathers EP.

This song seems to be such a tease, though, giving us just a taste of what we know Kimbra is capable of with a fully produced single of her own. Hopefully this is a hint that more Kimbra material is on the way. Fingers crossed!
