Frequency spits ‘Fire And Lightning’ on debut LP

Young Mesa, Arizona rapper CJ Kerns—better known as Frequency in the music world—recently released his debut full-length, titled Fire and Lightning – The Lightning Side. Packed with the energy inherent to EDM, which is heavy in the album’s production, Frequency’s newest is aggressive and catchy in equal measure, boasting big beats and infectious hooks while featuring Nate Dogg, Mariana, Daylyt, Don Majic Juan, G Stacks and more on various tracks throughout its roughly 55-minute runtime.

Fire and Lightning – The Lightning Side was recorded at Park Style Records in San Francisco, California with studio sessions that resulted in roughly 35 tracks being recorded overall. Half of those made The Lightning Side, the other half will likely be used down the line.
