UTG PREMIERE: Souveneer – “Strangers” (Acoustic)

Mason Maggio—member of indie rock band The Republic Of Wolves and folk duo Tigers On Trains—has a new solo project called Souveneer. Today, we have the honor of premiering an acoustic version of one of his recent singles, titled “Strangers.”

“‘Strangers’ was the first song written for this project, and an ironically difficult exercise in embracing simplicity,” Maggio tells UTG. “I wanted to take that a step further with the stripped-down acoustic version, and experiment with a darker and more poignant tone at the same time.”
