Burning is the tentative title of a new film by La Blogotheque auteurs Vincent Moon and Nathanaël Le Scouarnec that chronicles the wig-blowing sonic blast that is Mogwai live.

According to the Scottish post-rockers’ site, the concert movie was filmed in Brooklyn earlier this year and will premiere at the Copenhagen International Documentary Festival on November 13. There’s also an accompanying live album called Special Moves in the works, which will be released by Mogwai’s own Rock Action label.
Also screening at the Copenhagen festival is the short film “Adelia, I Want to Love”, directed by Moon and Teresa Eggers and co-starring Mogwai’s Stuart Braithwaite. Described on the film festival’s website as “a 90-year-old’s first encounter with post rock,” “Adelia” follows the grandmother of an Italian festival organizer as she prepares to witness Mogwai live in concert. (“Adelia” was included as a bonus feature on a limited edition version of Mogwai’s last album The Hawk Is Howling.)
