Altpress can exclusively reveal that former From First To Last guitarist/vocalist Travis Richter is the new frontman for the Human Abstract. Richter replaces former HA vocalist Nathan Ells, who parted ways with the band last fall.

Richter was a founding member of From First To Last in 2002 and remained with the band until an official announcement confirmed his departure this past January.

A statement released on behalf of the Human Abstract reads, “We’re excited to welcome Travis to the Human Abstract. We couldn’t be more pumped on the current state of the band and can’t wait to give our fans the best album our hard work has to offer.” The band are currently at work with original guitarist A.J. Minette as the primary songwriter as they work on the follow-up to 2008’s Midheaven.
