Slayer and Megadeth have announced the American Carnage tour during which both bands will perform the albums they released in 1990 front-to-back. Slayer will perform Seasons In The Abyss and Megadeth will play Rust In Peace.

The bands last toured together 19 years ago and they’ll be joined by Testament for the 25-date tour of North America. The tour was originally slated to begin early this year, but had to be pushed due to back surgery on Slayer vocalist/bassist Tom Araya. The frontman said, “Right after the surgery, I could tell that the issue was fixed. There’s no more pain, it just feels really good. We cancelled two tours, and I don’t feel great about that, but I couldn’t deal with the pain anymore, and that’s now completely gone.” Tickets purchased for the originally announced tour will be honored at rescheduled dates.

The tour is divided into Canadian and U.S. legs–Canada’s taking place in late July and America’s beginning mid-August. Check out dates below.
