Mansions is back with Dig Up The Dead

Mansions is back with Dig Up The Dead – the sophomore full length – due Spring 2011 on Burning House Records / King Bones Recordings

Based out of Louisville, Kentucky, Mansions is the brainchild of Christopher Browder who effortlessly combines elements of late 90’s indie fare with classic alt rock, resulting in fuzzed out emotive offerings transcending the trends permeating the industry. Called “refreshing; in a world flooded with over-produced anthems,” by Elevate Difference, Mansions is preparing for the release of their second full length, Dig Up The Dead. Recorded over a five -month period in various locations throughout the Southeast, Dig Up The Dead is a strikingly personal album steeped in nostalgia and is a mature follow up to their March 2009 debut, New Best Friends (Doghouse Records) and this spring’s B-sides compilation. Having toured with 90’s mainstays like The Get Up Kids and shared the stage with David Bazan, Mansions live performances are a collaborative enterprise with Browder being joined on stage by a variety of friends and strangers.
