James Shotwell After Fast Five became the biggest opening weekend in Universal Pictures HISTORY, many assumed another sequel was in the works. Now as the film near $600 million at the worldwide box office, we can not only confirm a sixth film, we have a release date.
Fast & Furious 6, which we are guessing will be called something sillier like Fast & Furiousix, will arrive in theaters MEmorial Day weekend 2013. Not only that, we can confirm FF6 will reunite the cast of the previous films (again, hopefully with “The Rock”) and be directed by Justin Lin.
