The world needs more Outkast. Having been subject to the constant onslaught of rappers trying to be more club-ready while simultaneously going “hard,” I can honestly say I would pay upwards of $50 for anything even half as great as the material Outkast create on each and every album.
Hopefully I will soon have to put my money where my mouth is because Hip Hop Wired is reporting new outings from the group may be coming sooner than expected:
OutKast is on track to release a new album by early next year. Both Dre and Big are working on solo projects; they want those out by the end of 2011.
Remember, this is just a RUMOR. Nothing has been confirmed, but we will keep you updated as this story develops.
