Childish Gambino performed a new song in The Bowery’s Poetry Room over the past weekend. Lucky for those of us unable to make it, one fan with a great smartphone captured the performance in relatively high quality. You can watch the clip after the jump.
This performance continues the spread of Childish Gambino’s organic approach to hip hop. Much like his upcoming album Camp, Gambino’ stage presence prefers the inclusion of live instrumentation over programmed beats and samples.
Camp still has no release date, but is expected by mid-2012.
