Trey Songz used to be the crooner you never wanted near your girlfriend, but after “Hunnadz” you may see him in a whole new light.
Where Drake and J. Cole took rap and added a croon, Songz is flipping the model and abandoning his soft image in this boastful, club-ready track. It’s nothing too original, but does show promise for Songz as a lyricist. Then again, if you already enjoy Cole and Drake, it’s hard to imagine you need another babyface telling you how “hard” they are.
