Fun. vocalist Nate Reuss recently opened up to Examiner.com about his band’s forthcoming Sophomore effort, due in early 2012.
In the interview, Reuss commented “Just being that we are three individual song writers we have so many different influences individually so when we come together its pretty cool because those things get to kind of manifest themselves in the weirdest of ways musically. I always like to think of it as just Pop music because that is kind of what the Beatles are and who doesn’t want to be the Beatles? So I just usually say Pop music and hope that people don’t think that it’s Britney Spears style Pop or anything like that.”
Fans anxious to hear the group’s effort may still have a few months to wait, but it sounds like it will be worth it. Aim & Ignite was a definite game changer and “We Are Young” helped keep our interest high. Good luck, Fun., don’t let the slump get you!
