GlobalGrind has confirmed the Beastie Boys’ member Adam Yauch, also known as MCA, has died. He was forty-eight.
At this time, it is unclear whether or not MCA’s death was a result of his ongoing battle with cancer, but reports on various websites lead us to believe that is the case.
Yauch founded Beastie Boys in 1979 with Mike D, Mix Master Mike, and Ad Roc. The group went on to become one of the greatest selling acts of all time, with more hits than we could begin to discuss.
