The numbers are in and it looks like talking animals are more interesting than aliens and robots as Madagascar 3: Europe’s Most Wanted tops the charts for the weekend. The family friendly animated flick beat out Prometheus (which took the number two slot this weekend) most likely due to its family friendliness. Elsewhere on the charts is Battleship which is still clinging to a spot in the top ten, but still not making nearly enough money to be considered a win for the studio yet.
