Earlier today, vinyl website Vinyl Collective released some unofficial reports on an upcoming vinyl pressing of Finch’s debut full length, What It Is To Burn, that were then also picked up by Absolute Punk. UTG reached out to the band to confirm the reports, and the band gave us this statement:
“This information is not completely accurate. We have not spoken with Vinyl Collective but have ideas to work with them. What was posted on their forum is not what we had in mind. What we have in mind is much more exciting than what was said. Stay tuned for an official announcement at www.facebook.com/officialofficialfinch <3 Finch”
The original report indicated that it would be a double LP on opaque turquoise vinyl, limited to 1500 copies, out in February for $21.99 as an exclusive to Hot Topic. Personally? I’m just happy that I may not have to travel to Hot Topic.
