Earlier this year, Boston’s Topshelf Records signed Diamond Youth, and since then, I’ve been listening to them far too much for my health. That’s a good thing, though: they have another record, Orange, coming out on January 22. Today they released a stream of a song from the new album titled “Cannonball”.
The song sounds like Diamond Youth’s mix of classic rock and punk, with some leader guitar work straight out of Queens of the Stone Age. I’m pumped to hear the rest of Orange when it comes. You can hear the song for yourself here at UTG with a quick click.
