Quicksilver Announced For ‘X-Men,’ But What About ‘The Avengers’?

Little by little the cast of X-Men: Days Of Future Past is being revealed thanks to its director Bryan Singer. This week he tweeted the new face of Quicksilver, Evan Peters.

Evan’s already got his parade of fangirls thanks to FX’s American Horror Story, but this role is about to take him to a whole new level. That’s all fine and dandy for Evan’s fanbase, but comic aficionados are wondering if Quicksilver being in the new X-Men, out July of next year, means that the character will be out of the next Avengers in 2015.

Avengers director Joss Whedon did mention that he’s got two characters in the draft for the new Avengers back at the Iron Man 3 premiere — “a brother-sister act.” Hello, Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch are siblings, so you never know. With that on the table, the next question is, will Evan play Quicksilver in both movies?
