Rihanna’s last album didn’t do too much for me or anyone else on the UTG staff, but in 2013 a number of producers and DJs have turned out incredible works using her music as the palette for their art. One such effort popped up this morning, and we knew we had to share it with all of you.

If there is one name synonymous with remixes of hip hop and pop tracks that don’t include slamming the track with a dozen big name rappers, it’s araabMUZIK. The longtime producer is currently gearing up to release The Remixes Vol 1, and late last night he uploaded his take on Rihanna’s stripper-anthem “Pour It Up” to show people what he has in store. The updated track offers an intriguing new perspective on the radio hit, and in doing so makes a horribly played out track feel fresh once again. You can stream the remix below.
