Duo Behind ‘V/H/S’ And ‘You’re Next’ Team Up Again For ‘The Guest’

V/H/S and You’re Next’s Adam Wingard and Simon Barrett are teaming up again for The Guest, a psycho Marine thriller.

With Wingard directing and Barrett on the script, those into their previous work shouldn’t be disappointed. This time around they’re telling the tale of an ex-Marine who returns from duty and goes on a rampage, terrorizing a military family who’d lost their son.

Downton Abbey’s Dan Stevens will be playing the crazed Marine, and The Bling Ring‘s Maika Monroe has been cast as the female lead who’s on to Stevens.

The Guest begins production this summer, while You’re Next hits theaters August 23 and V/H/S/2 is available on VOD.
