Just weeks after debuting “No Bueno,” fast-rising female rapper Angel Haze has blessed the internet with a new song entitled, “Initiation.”
Making its online debut sometime in the last twenty-four hours, “Initiation” sounds like a cross between emotional turmoil and an intergalatic space odyssey. Haze uses her hushed-yet-angelic singing voice to lure listeners in with talk of romance and sex, then brings the full fury of her mic skills once the beat kicks in. This rambunctiousness is short lived, however, as Haze spends the back half as soft as the first, but the energy never dips. You can stream and download “Initiation” at the end of this post.
Haze has said in recent weeks that all recording related to her debut album has been completed, but has yet to reveal an official release date. If you like “Initiation,” be sure to follow UTG on Twitter to ensure you never miss another headline.
