Following a summer spent focusing on family, Wiz Khalifa is ramping up anticipation for his upcoming album with the release of a new song entitled, “Look Into My Eyes.”

Hitting the net late last night, “Look Into My Eyes” is the first solo track to surface from Wiz in many months. The song may or may not appear on Blacc Hollywood, but for now it’s available to stream and download online. You can access the track at the end of this post.

To be honest, I expected Wiz to drop something far more radio friendly to mark his return, but that is certainly not what you get with “Look Into My Eyes.” This is the material that reminds you what brought Wiz to the top of the mixtape circuit years ago, and that is something we do not hear enough of on his albums. When all the club, party and ego verses are pushed aside, no one paints a picture quite like Wiz Khalifa, and “Look Into My Eyes” is a perfect example of a master craftsman at work.
