Ohio breakout act Dangerkids have released the official lyric video for their latest single, “Paper Thin.”
The latest song to surface off Dangerkids’ forthcoming Rise Records debut, “Paper Thin” blends the worlds of nu-metal and alt-rock seamlessly, resulting in one of the catchiest songs released all month. The song doesn’t veer too far from the sound heard on earlier singles off Collapse, but it does add a few elements of subtlety that would be harder to hear on the record’s heavier material. You can stream the track below.
Dangerkids are making a strong argument for being the modern Linkin Park, and I for one could not be more excited to see the nu-metal sound updated in this way. If any band on Rise’s label has a shot at making a huge impact on mainstream rock ready, it’s this group right here. Get familiar, preorder the album, and prepare for a complete rock and roll takeover from Dangerkids in the months ahead.
