The Jezabels Premiere “No Country”

The more I hear from The Jezabels, the more I adore them. So far the band has released a handful of singles from their upcoming album, The Brink, and today they added another song to that list. They partnered up with Rolling Stone to premiere “No Country.” You can check it out here, or right below the jump.

The vocalist sat with Rolling Stone and stated the following about the track:

“I guess there’s a certain age you reach when you start noticing more and more how crazy things are when you turn on the news, and you see young, healthy men killing each other in various contexts. If there’s one thing feminism has taught me, it’s how hard life can be for young and able men. You go through life thinking that they are the powerful ones, but it just seems to me that a lot of young men don’t feel like they belong, either. It makes you wonder – who does feel like they belong? I guess that’s what ‘No Country’ is sort of about.”
