It was a banner week for pop punk vinyl, and we’ve got all the details here at Weekly Wax.
There were new editions of some classics, with a reissue campaign underway for The Ataris in conjunction with their upcoming So Long, Astoria tour, another entry in Adeline Records‘ series of Green Day repressings, and new pressing of Half Hearted Hero‘s Defining/Refining. Younger bands were just as well represented, as A Loss For Words released a new pressing of their sought-after debut, The Kids Can’t Lose, Neck Deep and Knuckle Puck sold out of the pre-tour variants of their upcoming split in a matter of hours, and Broken Rim Records announced a split featuring Such Gold, Turnover, and more.
Other highlights from this week include a twentieth anniversary reissue of Nas‘s Illmatic, a new Daytrotter release featuring Fake Problems and Cursive, and more rumblings about Record Store Day 2014 releases.
Check out the full roundup after the break.
