Stream A New Split Featuring Kittyhawk, Droughts, Prawn, And Frameworks

Split releases are a great tool for music discovery. I can’t count the number of times I’ve picked up a split EP to hear a new song by a band I liked only to discover that the other side was just as good. That will probably happen to more than a few people who spin the latest Fair Weather Records release, which features new music from Kittyhawk, Droughts, Prawn, and Frameworks.

Each group contributed two songs, lending a wide variety of genres and influences to the release. Kittyhawk, for instance, play a subdued brand of Rainer Maria-influenced emo, while Droughts and Frameworks dabble in various subgenres of hardcore. You might already be familiar with Prawn from their other recent split with Joie de Vivre, but if not, now is the time to discover them.

All eight songs from the split are streaming over at AbsolutePunk and you can order a copy on vinyl right here.
