Lorde certainly needs no introduction at this point. She was one of the most talked about artists of 2013 with her debut LP, Pure Heroine, which raked in an impressive amount of award nominations and wins. One of Lorde’s popular singles from last year, “Tennis Court,” has already received a number of reworks since its initial release but the most recent, and probably most noteworthy, is a departure and a half from the original.
Australian producer, Flume, doubled the single’s runtime with all sorts of new (massive) electronic elements leaving Lorde’s lush vocal arrangements as the only truly recognizable aspect. Whereas some remixes hardly stray from the source material, Flume gave the Pure Heroine opener an entirely fresh makeover that will be sure to have fans of Lorde and EDM alike shaking their asses.
