Following a special one-night-only performance at the Gramercy Theater in New York last week, Body Count appeared on The Tonight Show Friday to perform a song off their new album. Today, naturally, a video of the performance found its way online.
Dressed in a sleeveless black Adidas shirt, Ice-T led his band through the Manslaughter cut “Enter The Dark Side” Friday night. The performance occurred moments after Jimmy Fallon – dressed in a suit and tie – introduced the group and promoted their upcoming appearance on the Rockstar Mayhem tour, which may have been the least punk thirty seconds of television ever. That said, things quickly became oddly amusing as soon as Body Count began delivering their hardcore opus. You can view the appearance below.
Body Count’s new album, Manslaughter, is available now wherever music is sold.
