Another week, another reason or three to discuss Thugga Thugga.
Last night, Atlanta up and comer Young Thug made good on a promise to deliver new music by releasing his 1017 Thug 2 street album. The record features ten brand new tracks, including the fiery hot “Trigger Finger.” You can stream and download the album, in full, at the end of this post.
Not long after 1017 Thug 2 began to make its way around the net a few bloggers started to notice several similarities between the artwork for the album and the cover art reveal for Wiz Khalifa’s yet to be released Blacc Hollywood. It could just be our eyes playing tricks on us, but it looks like Thugga Thugga photoshopped himself on Wiz Khalifa’s body, blurred a few tattoos, and slapped a 1017 Thug 2 label across the Blacc Hollywood art. You can view both designs, side by side, below:
Neither Wiz Khalifa nor Young Thug have commented on the similarities, but it seems pretty obvious that Thugga Thugga has no shame when it comes to photoshop hack jobs. If anyone speaks up, we’ll let you know.
