Containing members from a variety of projects whose genres ranged from math-rock to multi-drummer metal, Golden Python are far from lacking when it comes to musical ideas and influences. Thus, it’s no surprise that there’s plenty to hear within their brand new single, “Circus.” Hailing from the outfit’s wonderfully titled debut album, Matt Damon vs. The World, the cut features fittingly dramatic vocals draped atop math-rock instrumentals that vary from focused precision to high-flying jam sessions.
While the record doesn’t officially drop in its entirety until later this year via Stack Your Roster, pre-orders are now available on Bandcamp, so set aside some cash to support Golden Python’s first full-length after giving “Circus” a well-deserved listen and taking advantage of the free download.
