We all know the saying about how the best laid plans of mice and men often go awry, but did you know that saying also applies to female pop stars with independent attitudes?
Colbie Caillat has set a September 30 release date for Gypsy Heart, her fourth studio album. The release follows the June street date of Caillat’s Gypsy Heart (Side A) EP, which leads us to believe her plans for Side B were scrapped in order to double dip on the success of her most recent singles.
Three new songs included on Gypsy Heart, according to a Universal Republic press release, are “Floodgates,” “Never Getting Over You” and “Land Called Far Away.” We do not know if there are guests on these potential singles, but we can confirm that Colbie worked with such songwriters and producers as Babyface, David Hodges, and Jason Reeves while creating the record.
