Hot on the heels of the news that their latest studio album will arrive in October, Slipknot have revealed plans to embark on an extensive US headlining tour later this year.

Kicking off at Knotfest in San Bernadino on October 25 and 26, the ‘Prepare For Hell Tour’ is the first stateside run from Slipknot in several years. The outing will find the Iowa-based metalcore outfit traveling coast to coast over the course of six weeks with support from Korn and Michigan hardcore act King 810. I’m not sure how the hell King 810 made the cut, but they did. If you don’t like it, show up late. It’s that simple.

News of ‘Prepare For Hell’ was revealed this morning on Slipknot’s official website. Tickets are slated to go on sale September 5, but there is always a good chance of pre-sale opportunities. You can view the complete itinerary below.

Slipknot’s new album, .5: The Gray Chapter, hits stores October 21.
