Stevie Wonder Announces ‘Songs In The Key Of Life’ US Tour

We talk a lot about anniversary tours that are not to be missed, but this story is in a league all its own.

Stevie Wonder has announced plans to embark on a full US tour this fall that will find the pop icon performing his album Songs In The Key Of Life in full every single night. Wonder played the classic album in Los Angeles last December and has apparently decided it’s something every fan deserves a chance to experience. We wholeheartedly agree.

Originally released in 1976, Songs In The Key Of Life is an ambitious and gorgeous double album of soul and funk-infused pop that quickly became the release that all other Wonder releases were judged against. It spawned numerous hit singles, including “Sir Duke,” and has been included on literally hundreds of lists claiming to know the ‘best albums of all time.’ It’s also preserved in the National Recording Registry by the Library of Congress.

Dates for the Songs In The Key Of Life tour can be found below, as well as a stream of our favorite song from the record. Tickets go on sale September 22. Check local listings for additional details.
