Just when you thought it was safe to forget about Justin Bieber…

Meghan Trainor is the latest one hit wonder pop star with an irresistible, albeit entirely disposable single. “All About That Bass” has been taking over the world one country at a time, and in recent weeks a number of remixes have been teased. We tend to avoid these type of throwaway tracks unless they offer something worth talking about, and in our minds the idea of Justin Bieber laying down vocals on Trainor’s smash hit is definitely worth a sentence or two.

Today, Maejor Ali and Justin Bieber released their collaborative remix of “All About That Bass.” The updated track is designed specifically for the club crown, with no verses and a lot of glitchy effects. Bieber’s contribution is his voice, which he uses to sing the chorus over Trainor’s original vocal track. I’m not sure why it exists, but it’s certainly not the worst thing I’ve heard this week.
