Get out your emo bangs and prepare to scream until your lungs are sore. You may also want to break out your Clue game and begin creating cosplay based on your favorite weapons because Silverstein are kicking off 2015 by celebrating the 10-year anniversary of Discovering The Waterfront.
Do you remember where you were in 2005? I was a junior in high school who thought every song from the emo/scene world was written as a direct reflection of my own personal experiences. Discovering The Waterfront was one of those albums I played until everyone I knew could not stand to be around me any longer. Then I made new friends and kept on spinning it until the next album dropped. I still spin it. It’s waiting in my iTunes right now, as well as my physical music collection at home.
The point is – this is the news people like me have unknowingly been waiting to hear for years.
Silverstein have announced plans to embark on a 10-year anniversary tour for Discovering The Waterfront that will find them visiting cities across the United States. We do not have the full routing just yet, but We can confirm support from Beartooth, Hands Like Houses, Major League, and My Iron Lung.
