If there are two things people love to see Anne Hathaway do onscreen, it’s fall in love and ball her eyes out. Song One, which hits VOD in early 2015, offers both with a bit of a musical twist.
Don’t worry, this post isn’t about a music. Song One finds Hathaway portraying an archaeologist who is called home from Morocco to visit her hospitalized brother following an accident. When she arrives, she meets and begins to fall for a musician that is a favorite of her ailing brother. It seem for a moment as if fate had another reason for bringing our protagonist home, but there’s a twist (of course). You can view the film’s first trailer below:
Song One premiered at the 2014 Sundance Film Festival, and it will be released January 23 in theaters and on VOD. Comment below and let us know your thoughts on the trailer.
