Stephen Colbert is in the midst of wrapping up his long-running and highly successful Comedy Central show, The Colbert Report, and last night he asked Kendrick Lamar to help him say goodbye.

Serving as the final musical guest The Colbert Report will ever host, K. Dot partook in a short conversation with Stephen before surprising the audience, as well as viewers at home, with the world premiere of a brand new song. The track has no title, or if it does that information has not been made public, but the vibes you get when it plays fit well with the upbeat energy of “I.” You can view the performance, in full, below:
