The Grammy Awards were on last night. We could go back and forth over whether or not these awards still matter, but the fact remains this event is and has always been a big night for the industry. We weren’t too impressed by the show as a whole, but there was one performance we simply had to share with you today.

Sia has been riding a wave of critical and fan acclaim for the better part of the last year, which is due largely to the continued success of her hit single “Chandelier.” The notoriously reclusive singer did step out of the shadows for last night’s ceremony, but she left the bulk of her highly-anticipated performance to dancer Maddie Ziegler and Saturday Night Live alum Kristen Wiig. Together, the two put on a show-stopping dance routine that demanded your attention while playfully tugging at the heart strings of everyone who tuned in. You can view the performance below:

I’m fairly certain Sia is the woman with her back to the audience, but for all we know it could be yet another performer. Either way, this performance brought the house down, and we’re still gushing about it this morning. Sia has had one hell of a year, and it seems like 2015 will treat her even better.
