Slaves Guitarist Leaves Band

In a series of tweets over the last 48 hours, Slaves‘ guitarist, Christopher Kim, has confirmed that he has left the band due to personal differences.

Though he did not say why specifically, it sounds like there were some issues within the group. Unfortunately, he has since deleted a handful of those tweets in the time I have taken to write this article. One tweet did say something along the lines of “I’d rather take a step back in my career than live in this fake & toxic environment just for my own monumental gain.” The tweet confirming his departure, which is the only one regarding the situation that’s left, can be read below.

The band hasn’t made a statement yet, but if and when they do we will post an update.
