The Receiving End Of Sirens Tease ‘The Lost Tape’

With everyone currently celebrating the ten-year anniversary of Between The Heart and The Synapse, The Receiving End Of Sirens have begun teasing something new that already has fans feeling excited.

Yesterday, April 26, the YouTube account for Triple Crown Records uploaded a teaser trailer for something from The Receiving End Of Sirens called The Lost Tape. The video features a compilation of old live footage that flickers while atmospheric music, also from TREOS, serves as the soundtrack. It’s unclear exactly what the clip is intended to promote, but it certainly goes a long way toward securing our interest in learning more. You can view the video below.

Some of our friends at Absolutepunk were quick to point out that the Lost Tape may be referring to the long-promised TREOS live DVD that never found its way to the public. Whether or not that turns out to be true remains to be seen, but it would be awesome if that were the case. Follow UTG on Twitter for more updates.

Speaking of Between The Heart And The Synapse, our own Drew Caruso recently wrote a great piece on the album’s lasting impact and importance in the alternative music scene. If you have time, please give it a read.
