Director John Carpenter streams “Angel’s Asylum” from ‘Lost Themes II’

John Carpenter, the Master Of Horror, will release his second solo album, Lost Themes II, on April 15 through Sacred Bones Records. Following up his debut from last year, we’ve heard one excellently ominous cut from the new album thus far in “Distant Dream,” but now, the beloved auteur of such films as Halloween and The Thing has revealed a second single with “Angel’s Asylum,” which you can stream below.

Speaking on the new track, Carpenter says, “’Angel’s Asylum’ has a driving rock sound and is more reminiscent of my later work. We initially started writing it for the comic book and we liked it so much we decided to put it on the album.”

Pre-orders for Lost Themes II are available now in physical formats through Sacred Bones. Digital copies can be purchased through iTunes and Bandcamp. You can also find John Carpenter on tour later this year in various cities around the world. His current tour routing can be found below.
