Bitter’s Kiss has a defeatist view on love in video for “No One Will”

Young, New Jersey-based singer-songwriter Chloe Baker, known musically as Bitter’s Kiss, has been on a steady rise since making waves with the initial release of her self-titled debut early in 2015. With a few music videos in tow and a new EP on the way, both the momentum and the anticipation are strong.

One of Baker’s most recent singles, “No One Will,” showcases the songstress’ less-than-positive view on happy endings in relationships. While bleak on the one hand, Baker’s approach gives the song an almost peppy, upbeat vibe, topped with a voice beyond her years. The single’s video, shot on location in beautiful Cork, Ireland, features Baker lying in various landscapes, singing the song. It’s simple in execution but sells the song well.
