Anberlin Reveal Final Album Title, Track List, And Cover Art

Anberlin have announced that their final studio album will be titled Lowborn. The album cover art and track list can be found at the end of this post.

Set for release on June 23 through Tooth And Nail Records, the band’s original label, Lowborn will feature 10 final tracks from Florida’s finest musical export. Instead of recording the album together, the musicians did their parts with separate producers they each selected. Drums were recorded with Matt Goldman in Atlanta and later combined with bass and guitar in Lakeland, FL with Copeland’s Aaron Marsh. Vocals were recorded with the band’s longtime collaborator Aaron Sprinkle in Franklin, TN.

Pre-orders for Lowborn will be released next week alongside a teaser of the album’s first single. The band’s final tour will kickoff June 13.

A press release sent out alongside the album announcement mentions that “Each musician has plans for the future after Anberlin, some concrete and some vague, some musical and some not. Those plans, in various ways, will be revealed in the coming months. For everyone, this is a celebration of what has been achieved rather than the mourning of a loss.”

I’m very excited about this album even though I really really really don’t like the artwork on the cover. I don’t have a good reason. Just not find of it.

  2. Andrew Almond says:

The cover art reminds me of some image the Black Keys would use or something. Idk. Looking forward to hearing the bands last hurrah though.
