Bad Sign are kickstarting the promotional efforts for their forthcoming EP today with the release of a new song titled “The Recidivist.”
Posted first to YouTube as part of a slick lyric video, “The Recidivist” kicks off with all the aggression and intensity you would expect from a band trying to find their way onto the Vans Warped Tour. As the introduction transitions into the first verse, however, there is a melodic sense of heart and soul that comes pouring through the speakers, changing the hard-hitting track into something slightly more alternative. This is not a complaint. Not in the slightest, in fact, because the verses and hook that follow are downright irresistible. You can stream the song via the aforementioned lyric video at the end of this post.
Destroy, the new EP from Bad Sign, is expected to arrive in stores this November. If the video below does not work for you, “The Recidivist” is also available on Spotify and Deezer. We’ll bring you more on Destroy and the band’s plans to support their latest release in the months ahead. Stay tuned.
