The release of Rick Ross‘ new record Hood Billionaire is getting closer by the day, and late last night the man behind Maybach Music Group shared one album cut I know you’re going to love.
Collaborating with Jay Z for the second time in a year, “Movin’ Bass” finds two of the wealthiest men in music today reminding everyone they still run the streets over top notch production from Timbaland. Ross boasts about his house, wealth, and the way he’s not about to take shit from anyone who thinks they have something to say. He stretches the truth, but that’s nothing new for Ross. Jay doesn’t have a verse, but his presence on the hook is enough to keep you bobbing along even when Ross’ rhymes begin to feel a bit redundant towards the end.
Hood Billionaire hits stores the week of Thanksgiving, but at the rate he’s dropping tracks I suspect the full album will be available for streaming at least a few days early. Follow UTG on Twitter for updates.
