For a band that does not shy away from the “emo” tag, Runaway Brother‘s most recent single sure sounds pretty chipper. “Reprise,” a brand new track taken from their upcoming debut record called Mother, is an upbeat and pleasant take on an emotional ballad about love. You can take a listen below.
Mother is scheduled to be released on March 31 via Tiny Engines (pre-orders here). With their buoyant sound and their lyrical charm similar to the likes of Wheatus and Bowling For Soup, one can expect a lot of buzz about the Cleveland four-piece pretty soon.
It is also worth noting that the band will be embarking on a short run with Dads this month, which will be followed by their appearance at the Skate And Surf Music Festival in Jersey. You can find more details on that tour here.
