Rick Ross tried to tell us #MeekSeason was coming, but we didn’t know it would be here so soon.
Tonight, June 1, Meek Mill debuted a new track titled “Check.” Featuring production from Metro Boomin and Southside, the song features Mill going in with bar after bar about money, women, and the hustle you need to have in order to make that money other rappers only claim to possess. Cosmic Kev premiered the song at 8PM EST, and within minutes a studio quality recording hit the net. You can stream the track below.
It’s unclear whether or not “Check” will appear on Dreams Worth More Than Money, but it’s content would make a strong argument for fitting the obvious theme of the album. There is also no release date, but with all of Maybach Music Group hyping this to be a big summer it’s entirely possibly that will soon change. Stay tuned.
