Today is a sad day for the world of electronic music. Swedish House Mafia, otherwise known as the perfect pop trio of djs, have officially decided to part ways following their current tour.
The group, consisting of DJ’s Axwell, Steve Angello and Sebastian Ingrosso, broke the news to fans via their official website. In a message posted this morning the band wrote:
“Today we want to share with you, that the tour we are about to go on will be our last. We want to thank every single one of you that came with us on this journey. We came, we raved, we loved.”
Swdish House Mafia do have quiet a few dates left before their times comes to an end. They will play T In The Park on July 8, their last ever UK show at Milton Keynes Bowl on July 14, a residency at Ibiza’s Ushuaia from July 4 to August 29, Stockholm’s Friends Arena on November 24, as well as additional performances that will be announced in August.
All three DJs are expected to work on solo material in the future. Stay tuned.
